So I'm pretty much average with all classes, except Spy. I cannot, for the life of me, understand the mechanics of Spy and how to fully utilize him. It's confusing and infuriating how often I die because I simply can't be effective as Spy.
I read a thread here a little while back, where someone mentioned that using the Dead Ringer is optimal for beginner Spies. Is that true?
I would very much love to improve but I haven't the slightest clue as to what loadout is the most newb-friendly. Any advice is also greatly appreciated.

DR for beginner Spies?
