I've been unfamilliar with PC games for the last 4 or 5 years. I haven't really tried any new games or have done any of that. I don't know what's "in" the market. What is on the market that is good and where can I go to check these things out in the future?
What I'm looking for are games with modern level design capabilities compared to Doom and Quake. First Person Shooters. Or fantasy games like Hexen/Heretic.
I know there's the Source, Unreal, GTKRadiant, Aurora tool-kits and corresponding games, etc. Should I just use those?
I want to eventually, make a website with my levels and clan dedicated to a game.
