Killing the Pyro wielding it extinguishes this weapon's afterburn, due to a strange relationship with death.
The burn is far more dangerous while the Pyro lives though, with double afterburn damage.
This comes at the additional cost of 25% less Flamethrower damage and double the cost for airblasts
In short, it is my attempt to make an Afterburn oriented Flamethrower that would not be overly frustrating to play against.

In Summary
Pros:
Double Afterburn damage. (From 60 in 10 seconds to 120 in 10 seconds.)
Cons:
- Afterburn is extinguished if the Pyro dies.
- Airblast ammo cost doubled.
- 25% Flamethrower direct damage.
Flare Gun afterburn is counted separately from the Ghostfire, though the damage does not stack.
Ghostfire has a unmistakable purple flame to make it's danger and weakness obvious.
