-Primary weapons-
Can swap away from any primary immediately upon spinning down the weapon.
Betters reactability when something else needs tending to, ala using the Sandvich on a teammate, changing to the Fists of Steel/Gloves of Running Urgently, etc.
-Secondary weapons-
Shotguns can now be thrown with alt-fire, restoring teammates' current weapon's clips and damaging enemies. The weapon regenerates after 15 seconds.
Gives the Heavy another support option, allowing for a burst of a teammate's sustainability by refilling their clip, or finishing off an enemy from a fair distance away.
-Melee weapons-
Base damage increased to 85.
There's no real reason for the Heavy's melee weapons to be lackluster when you're already that close as a Heavy. A minor change in the long run, as the Minigun will usually be the best option.
Alt-fire will a melee weapon out to perform a short, quick combat roll. During this time, weapon change speed is instantaneous and Miniguns can start to spin up, but you cannot attack mid-roll. 15 seconds between rolls.
Allows for a short, fast relocation, diving around a corner, or engaging enemies, with a slow enough recharge to not be repeatedly abusable.
Most of these ideas are rather drastic and pretty major improvements, but I believe the Heavy needs more options and capabilities before he's an interesting and viable class. Tell me what you think, what you disagree with, and what could be done to change these for the better, if not outright remove them.
