Bought Bioshock 1 and 2 on disc a while back.
#2 was a pain, installed, went to run, made me register with Steam, and then Steam downloaded/installed a new copy rather than use what was just installed. But it works... basically bought the DVD for the reg key.
#1... also says GFWL on it, but, from what I am reading you don't register the retail version of #1 with Steam. Which sucks, it's kinda nice to have all 3 Bioshock's listed in the same place.
It's on sale today though (under $5CAD) and I was wondering... other than having all Bioshock's listed in the same place, is there any advantage to having the Steam copy over the Retail?
Like... extra updates? fixes? features? DLC's? etc....?
