So, I've become aware of a very annoying issue with Steam after I switched to Windows 10. Games like Terraria and Kerbal Space Program won't launch, as in Steam announces it's launching it, and the task appears in Task Manager and just vanishes, but I HAVE fixed it to some degree by pinning shortcuts from the game folders themselves to my taskbar, where they launch just fine. I HAVE tried verifying the game files, to no avail. But now, onto the next problem: every game I have (excluding CS:GO) running the Source engine (and possibly other games, I haven't checked all of my games yet) have an issue with the Steam UI and their respective pause menus where they are functional, but they vanish and reappear rapidly, at a speed that could probably cause an epileptic person to have a seizure. It's painful to look at. CS:S has it the worst, though. The map vanishes and rapidly reappears like the pause menu and Steam UI. The collisions still exist, but the skybox shows through. It's not rave grade flickering fortunately, but it's still enough to throw my focus off and get me killed. CSGO, as mentioned before, has been spared of most of this, save for the VERY rare case where the menus and Steam UI flicker at rave-grade speeds.
My PC Specs are here:
Processor: AMD FX-6300 Six-Core Processor
RAM: 8 GB
System Type: 64-bit OS, also an x64-based processor.
Operating System: Windows 10 (which ought to be a given)
I have made sure my drivers are up to date, and it's pretty upsetting knowing they're up-to-date and this hasn't been fixed up yet. I've asked multiple friends about this, and they say it's not a problem for them. If anybody has a solution, please let me know, because although it may sound bearable to some, I'm the kind of person that can't sleep at night knowing I'm unable to fix this.
