Hello all, FISH KILL here. Recently in the past few months I've noticed and increase in the use of the Half Zatoichi on Demoman. This sword, in my honest opinion, is overpowered. Let's look at why I think it's overpowered (on demoman for the most part).
1. It has random crits.
None of the other swords in the game have random crits...what makes this sword so special? Seriously, crits one hit kill so many classes.
2. It replenishes all of your health on kill.
Why? Seriously, why does this sword give you full health on kill? In my opinion it should give 100 hp on kill at the max. You factor in random crits in a close quartered battle and bam. Easy HP. The survivability with this weapon is really stupid.
3. Demoman's shields give him so much resistance.
Most demoknights don't use a primary so they just stick to ali baba's wee booties, *insert shield here*, and a sword. These shields all give some sort of fire and explosive resilience to demoman, and to be honest..I see a lot of pyros and explosive classes on the battlefield. So immediately he can tank 3/4's of a servers damage. Throw in the Half Zatoichi and oh ♥♥♥♥ he's going on killing sprees with no care in the world.
So here's how I think the Half Zatoichi should be nerfed.
100 HP returned on kill
No random crits
Now..I'm gonna sit back and watch the demoknights get mad at me.
Half Zatoichi Needs A Slight Nerf (for demo at least)
