I decided to try this game again and I have the problem that I live in Germany I we did not get all the nice patches and can't buy any DLC or even download the high resolution DLC.
The game would after a while show a black screen. Everything was working in the background, even the controls or the menu, but you would see nothing.
I could just start the game and stay in the menu and it would happen after 5-45 minutes.
After trying different fixes and graphics options I found that just setting the quality of the video settings to "low" would allow me to play for many hours.
