Today I was playing plr_hightower (a friend invited me) and I was using the Persian Persuader, Sticky Jumper, and Grenade Launcher combo that a particular one of our very own loves. (He has already written about how the weapon changing mechanic severely buffed this playstyle but I realized something important.)
During this game of plr_hightower, I found myself to only have 4 grenades left in my grenade launcher, so I decided to jump to the enemy spawn and bomb a sniper. I landed the first pipe and the sniper turned around and pulled out his trusty frying pan before I was able to kill him with the third pipe. I was able to pick up the frying pan and almost completely refill all of my ammo and then reequip my persian persuader and continue to destroy enemies in my way.
So what does this mean?
All-class reskins can actually affect gameplay now, which means they are technically not a reskin compared to stock. If you see an enemy using this demoman combo (it's rare, but still), you may want to consider switching to stock or another weapon if you're using a reskin.
Think first before choosing an All-Class melee.
