Overwatch Bypass

so i think there's a new overwatch bypass, got matched against a blatant cheater today and we played it out, then at the end of the game we all got connection lost from the server. He was boasting about a bypass and now the demo is corrupt

Surely if he's attacking the demo, he has to attack the server and thus would be breaking laws?
