Question about buying game bundles

I'm probably going to buy the valve complete pack during the upcoming summer sale. Now, I already have half of the games in the pack and I want to gift the other half to a friend. If I select "Store the gift in my inventory to send later" when purchasing the bundle, will it make each game in the bundle it's own item in my inventory so I can choose which games to send and keep, or will it keep it as one Valve Complete Pack item in my inventory so I cant pick which games to keep and send.
