Texture help please
Would anyone who can, please tell me where the textures for the holsters are? I'm having an issue with Nick's holster missing its texture. I have verified files; I have reinstalled the game; and I have even reinstalled Steam. If anyone knows where the files are located, I can add my own.

If you ever receive a message saying that someone wants to trade with you and the "person" sends you a link to a .scr-file (Screensaver file) that, allegedly, contains a picture of the trade offer, do not fall for it. Playing Dead Island Riptide one cannot manually save and at times you play for an hour before reaching a checkpoint.
I will quit the game on reaching a checkpoint but on resuming I am positioned far from the checkpoint position, sometimes

Steam Games Shut off all sounds

As the title say, it's about the sound problem.
You see, before i was playing steam game, the sound was fine. But after i started the steam game, the sound shut off. I checked on the sound playback while playing (using razer surround, not realtek) there was no green bar. So i exited the game. Even after i exited the game, There was still no sound, but there were green bars that move when...
can't get a single game without a cheater now at supreme rank
been playing this whole week and I've maybe found 1 or 2 games out of 10 where there wasn't a cheater in it. The game can't stay like this for long otherwise no one will play it anymore they will only play esea or cevo and the regular game will just die. The hit registration and map narrowness already makes me not want to play anymore but now that I've reached supreme there is just cheater after cheater....

I recently just bought a new laptop (switched from a mac to a PC) and I've discovered that the size of my mouse cursor seems to double whenever I run a steam game. This is quite irritating, clearly, and I'd like to change it.
When I try changing the resolution the game is run in, the cursor reverts back to normal size, but the game runs in less than full screen.

Why is Big Picture mode so underutilized?
Big Picture is only using a fraction of its potential. No Spotify integration, No Netflix, Hulu, or other 3rd party app support. Overlay is often buggy and glitches out, interface in some areas is clunky, particularly chatting with friends and the music app (which is trash in its own right). No way to customize or "theme" Big Picture. Basically, its the same as release with very little different.

Apologies for an off topic post - has anybody bought the boxed version of GTA V for the PC and can confirm that installing from the CD does not trigger an installation via Steam? I know that this may seem like a strange question but before I buy the boxed version I need to know for sure that it will install fully outside of the Steam Directory so that I can play the game at the same time...

I have a BEX error on Air conflicts secret war that i bought recently.
The strange thing is that the game started once ,gave a BEX and from then even if i reinstall the game always giving BEX.

Aiming Consistently
My scout aim is not always ♥♥♥♥ty, it alternates between F2P and pretty good. One moment I can play at silver level, and the next I'm struggling to hit targets running in a straight line. There doesn't seem to be any definite trigger for switching between bad and good aim, it can happen whether or not I'm nervous, such as in the middle of MGE or in a lobby or even at tdm_hightower. Whenever I run any Steam game, Steam comes up with the popup:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Bin\SteamService.exe
File System Error (-1073741521).
After that the game still launcher though. But it doesn't do the usual procedure of install DX and stuff.

I have always been with AMD and I have recently just upgraded from an AMD 6950/6970(unlocked shaders) to an Asus Strix GTX 970 and I am experiencing sluggish, choppy gameplay. I'm trying to play through Witcher 2 before 3 comes but I'm having this really weird FPS issue. I'll start the game @ 60fps then after about 10 minutes of play I can watch my FPS decrease by increments of 10 until it goes down to about 20. I got to ask this from off topic because the Fear forums isn't that active. I have encountered A LOT of physic related bugs in Fear 1.

Can't Delete Non-Steam Shortcut
For some reason my non-steam version of the original mod of The Stanley Parable doesn't have an option to delete the shortcut. All my other non-steam games have the delete shortcut option. I deleted my files for the full game of The Stanley Parable but it didn't make a difference. I uninstalled the mod's files long ago.

Does paypal offer refunds if scammed?
Going to be buying a laptop off someone from reddit. The dude seems legitimate and I see no red flags (other than the good deal I'm getting).
To prepare for the worst case scenario though, I want to know if paypal would refund me the money had I got scammed.

Yeah, about this thing, does anyone else think the stats should change a bit?
If it does more damage to buildings it should to players too. Maybe lower the swing speed and up the damage or keep the damage at stock level. IDK i just think it should be able to put more damage on a person with some sort of bad side to it.

csgo.exe has stopped working!!
Hi,
Few weeks ago I launched CS:GO on my computer and few seconds after I pressed the start button, the screen went black to enter the game but it crashed and I got an error saying "csgo.exe has stopped working".
Now I play a lot of CS:GO and one day it suddenly happened, I've searched everywhere about this problem and how to fix it and I've even submitted a ticket to steam and I tried everything...

About 2 month ago my monitor
started randomly goes black for a second every so often,
maybe 10 times in 24 hour period.
Connections seem to be ok.
Can not point to any one device that
hooked up to computer, sometimes
when slight mouse, keyboard, table touch
monitor go black for a second, then comes
back.
I have google similar problems, but
no definitive answer.
