I recently thought of a new Rocket Launcher for Soldier that used a different projectile dymamic than traditional rockets. Here's the result:
Basically, this Rocket Launcher shoots torpedos that follow the terrain like a player. There are two methods of attacking with this: Stagger and Spread. For Stagger, just shoot like normal. For Spread, use Alt-fire; all rockets remaining in the clip will get launched when using Spread. Due to the nature of how these "rockets" function, it will be impossible to Rocket Jump from the ground; you will need to use a wall to get your Rocket Jump fix. On the flipside, launching a spread at a wall will grant Sticky-jump like mobility, but you will need to reload... or respawn, because you just took 4 rockets instantly, unless you have Gunboats.
I thought I'd post this on the main forum because the class forums are pretty much dead, and I want views from all class's perspective. What do you think?
[Soldier] [Weapon] The Warspite: Basically, torpedos.
The Warspite

While burrowing: +60% projectile speed and cannot be deflected or destroyed
While airborne: -90% Projectile speed and projectiles drop to the ground
No random critical hits
