I think steam needs a way to notify people of games adding mac or linux steamplay versions. I buy Mac and Windows games but prefer to play on Mac side if possible.
I think it would have to be opt in since most windows people wouldn't care. With Mac and linux options for what version you are waiting for.
Just an email like the sale ones saying "This game in your library is now available to play on Mac." and maybe a monthly one with a list of all the games that went Mac that month.
