The offensive engineer: A different approach.

Do you hate turtling and babysitting immobile aimbots?
Do you also hate those melon-sized spawns of satan?

Well here's an idea.

What if engineer could build sentries... That move?

Of course, the 360 cannon of hitscan death would be overpowered if it were able to be moved around corners and trough chokes, especially paired with wrangler.

I'm thinking of something like this

It would be able to build a tf2-themed cannon chassis (just the wheels), with a sentry gun on top.

The sentry gun doesn't have 2 miniguns (8 shots/s) and a rocket pod (150) but two cannons that fire loose cannon projectiles (firing rate and damage should be tested) and a single top-mounted sentry barrel (4 shots/s) at level 2, a single cannon and the gun at level 1 (has only 2 levels).

It can be moved with alt-fire, when in vicinity (hence the hidden downside of not being able to haul it fast enough over large distances), strafing with A and D makes it rotate on spot, it moves at about the speed of a brass beast heavy.

Since it's movable, it can't have the same range as the normal sentries. And being more of an offensive weapon, it should trade flank protection for the mobility.

However, it needs staying power. Since it can't be repaired while pushed, the 180 normal health is laughable.

Tl: Dr stats

Replaces sentry with a deployable mobile cannon
Cannon can be grabbed and moved with alt fire
50% more cannon health (360)

-25% building attack range
Cannon attacks only 90 degrees in front
The cannon receives 65% less repairing from all sources

Another idea would be letting the engie build mini-sentrybusters, but i've heard bots have bad navigation systems, so only if it was manual controlled at all time it could work.

Or a sentry that rebuilds instantly after hauling, but cannot be upgraded past level 2 and has only 90 degrees range.
