In the past week, I've encountered at least 10 hackers, typically one or two per day. Typically, these guys run lmaobox, since it's free and has plenty of options. Now, normally, you could just ban these players and that would be that. They could keep coming, but one simple votekick and they'd be gone.
However, lmaobox has an exploit that allows it to avoid the votekick found on Valve servers (and some community servers), something that allows lmaobox users to circumvent being kicked, allowing them to terrorize a server as long as they want.
So my question to Valve is this: do you guys even know this is happening? Do you know that lmaobox has this exploit? Are you going to fix it eventually? How long until that fix happens? Nothing quite ruins a day of fun like a hacker who sticks around as long as they're able to.
Is Valve, at all, taking active steps to stop hackers?
