I know that it's both VAC and the addon overwatch.
I got the idea of an extra addon to this.
An extra level of overwatch.
I heard about overwatch bypass and as I understand is that people have several accounts that they cheat 1 game every 24h and that the reports resets after 24h unless u get more than x reports.
If thats true people can cheat as long as their cheat doesnt get detected by vac.
If this about overwatch bypass is true or not doesnt matter anyway for my suggestion to prevent cheaters.
But I would glady get a better knowhow about how overwatch works.
My suggestion is as i briefly wrote before is to add an extra level of overwatch.
My idea is that valve/steam assign extra privilegies to some people that get a live overwatch notification.
It should be working in a way that people with like 500h hours of game play an rank above eagle.
An silver could offcourse also in many cases judge if a person is cheating as good as and global with 2k hours.
The important thing is that the person with these privilegies have the skill enough to make a correct judgement.
So when for example x people reports 1 guy in a game.
People with the extra privilegies will get this as a live notification and will be able to watch the game live.
If there are no people with extra privilegies online or none are able to watch the report will be handled the regular ow way.
If a report comes in and and previlegied people watches the game has the ability to do a report but with the extra kick that it delivers to steam/valve with higher priority/higlighted.
In this way we have a good thing in many ways:
Steam/valve have some more clear cases to ban people more quickly without spending hours and hours of watching demos of lowranked people reporting people that just simply are better than them and not are cheating.
The other good part is that the live overwatching people can easily check if lets say ragehacker in team a have all the other people on his team in his friendslist.
In that way these people also can recive like a 7day ban for obvious playing with and supporting cheating even if themselves not are cheating.
This is just an little idea that I have.
