So I was having trouble logging into steam on chrome on my mobile phone and my computer, all other sites worked well, but when I logged into steam on chrome on my cell it would just refresh the log in page. As I had no issues elsewhere and this had been ongoing for a week I contacted steam support.
I had tried all the usual stuff, deleting cookies, refreshing cache, re-installing, ect.
So steam support decided to reset my account...with out telling me this would cause steam guard to reset(well without telling me at all)and there would be a 15 trade/market limit on the account.
Now I have several other browsers, I don't need to use chrome. I figured, let them know the issue and maybe it would get back to the web coders who would look into it. I might not have been the only one having the issue... but no, dude just reset my bloody account. I am quite annoyed as I enjoy trading and that's primarily what I do on steam.
I can wait it out, 15 days is not that long - but I do feel its bad customer service to not work with the customer to fix the issue and that it would have been nice to have been informed of what the rep was going to do and what its effects might be so I could make the decision on if I felt it was worth the end result.
So thanks for the 15 day ban steam.... appreciated it.
