I'm out of ideas and I'd really appreciate some help.
I recently finished building my new pc and booted into my old os thinking I would easily be able to download all the important drivers but unfortunaltey I can't access the internet because windows doensn't detect any network devices.
I first tried putting the necessary drivers, chipset, LAN, graphics on a usb drive (usb 2.0) from another computer but then another problem occurs, windows doesn't detect the usb drive either. I tried all the usb 2.0 ports except for the keyboard's which I doubt would work anyway, even the usb 3.0 ones.
The funny thing is, the usb drive is perfectly visible in the UEFI.
What are the things I can try to do besides doing a clean windows install as a last resort? Is there anything I can do from the UEFI?
This is a Z170 build btw, Asus maximus 8 hero. windows 7.
Thanks.
New pc, unable to install drivers. :(
