Souls Series Virgin Looking at DS2

The summer games drought is nearly here, and there doesn't seem to be any worthwhile RPGs of note at all. Iv'e allways been put off by the legendary/infamous diffaculty of the Souls series Iv'e heard so much about. But out of boredom, Iv'e been watching alot of streams Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin, and it just looks really good. Is the diffaculty really that bad? I google around and get a ton of yes and no. There is no demo, and none of my friends have it, so I can't see for myself.



If I do, I'll likely grab it on the PS4 though as my rig is just an old i5 and a 6670 and probubly won't run it too well compared to the 60fps/1080p the PS4 puts out.
