I posted a bug report, but no one seemed to notice before it was pushed off to the third page, seemingly without so much as a glance.
My games (First all the source based Half-Life games as well as TF2, and now DayZ) are getting stuck in an update loop.
The games show up as "Update Required" but are not queued. Once queued, the games download anywhere from 90-99% of the update, then jump back out of the queue back to the "Update Required" state. When requeued, they start over again from the beginning.
This just suddenly started happening, and I don't know why!
I've tried:
-Restarting steam.
-Deleting the .blob files.
-Deleting everything except "SteamApps". (Redownloading 600GB of games, is not high om my to-do list.)
-Reinstalling the games. (Deleted games [TF2] wont reinstall.)
-Deleting files for individual games. (See "Reinstalling the games".)
The files don't seem to be corrupted, but I can't play the games like this.
It's getting worse, please, if anyone has any ideas, pleas help!
I'm running Windows 7 64bit, and this happens on both the current stable and beta releases of the Steam client.
