I've been playing CS for a decade and now CS:GO for almost 1k hours. I really like the competitive mode, but there's one thing that is ruining the game experience for me.
In my prime CS time, we used to kick players that were TKing or flash-banging the team on purpose, or throwing the bomb over the fence. In other words, players that had negative contributions to the team. Now we kick players that are helping the team, but just not getting as much kills as the rest. It sucks to get kicked when you're simply trying to have a good time, and I don't blame "the internet" for that, but how the CS system works. By giving the team a FREE bot if you kick someone, that's like saying:
1 - This bot will camp in spawn and later be controlled by the top players from higher ranks, so it might have a higher chance of getting kills. Depending of the rank difference between top fraggers and bottom fragger, this may unbalance the match.
2 - You will be rewarded with a chance to "play again" if you die. Everyone wants an opportunity for more play time.
In 1 every 4 competitive games I see someone in the team trying to kick the bottom fragger. That's because kicking him is a VALID game strategy. It might actually help the team to win, even if the player getting kicked was helping the team. But that ruins the experience for that player that just got kicked without doing anything wrong. At a competitive level, everyone can start the game being a bottom fragger. I've seen players starting a kick vote in the SECOND ROUND because a player didn't get a kill like the rest of the team.
My solution to this problem is: DON'T GIVE A BOT TO A TEAM THAT KICKED SOMEONE. This way, players will only kick a player when his contribution is being negative. I'm still in favor of giving a bot if someone abandons the game or is auto-kicked for TKing. But please, not if the team chooses to kick someone out. This is just ruining for people who want to have a fun time, but got unlucky enough to not get kills in the first few rounds.
