It looks like the zombies were tugging at the guard from both sides. That behavior seems... rather odd, seeing as how zombies typically try to kill their prey by swiping them with their claws, not holding onto their arms and pulling them side-to-side.
Any theories as to what they're doing, people? I'd like to hear your ideas on this matter.
