For those of you who haven't got the memo yet, Gun Mettle just destroyed the Sigafoo Save. Your damage rate is decreased to 66% still, yes, but the repair rate while shielded is also cut by 1/3.
On the other hand, I'd like to discuss TF2 before it was TF:GO. Using the classic R.R. and Wrangler really cuts the engie's damage down. It's hard to hit someone with the R.R. and you only have 4 bolts. Wrangler has no attack ability, literally leaving the Engineer with a melee weapon and 4 bolts of 50 damage each. I always wondered why ubers focused on the sentry during a S. Save, because the engie guarding it would've been a much easier target.
