...why not salvage it into an actual raygun?
It still keeps the flamethrower's 200 ammo, and still fires these weird rings, but with different functions:
M1: Fires a Rightous Bison shot except that hits at close range set stuff on fire.
Draws 25 ammo. Same attack intervall as the Shotgun.
M2: Emmits a Short Circuit zap.
Draws 30 ammo, and restores 50 ammo per destroyed projectile. Same attack intervall as the Grenadelauncher.
Reload or taunt at full charge: Full health on wearer, Battalion's Backup buff for the wearer during the taunt, and Buff Banner minicrits on him and nearby allies for the rest of the charge's duration.
Reload or taunt to activate while Mmmph is full, reload again to cancel at any time to conserve what charge you have left.
