Looking for custom MvM players

Hello everyone,

I hope it's permitted to make a thread like this. If not, please do what is necessary.

A couple of buddies and myself are looking for friendly players to test and play custom MvM maps and custom MvM waves with. We used to have a good group going, but a lot of them moved to Dota and CS:GO and trying with uncommunicative scrubs that act like braindead road slugs is about as fun as having a tooth cavity filled without dental anesthesia.

So I thought it might be a good idea to ask people on SPUF who are looking to play MvM but got bored with the Valve waves and are also sick of being grouped up with 0-tour scrubs who use their free ticket to play Expert.

A few things to keep in mind, if you are interested:

- We're testing player-made waves and player-made maps. This means you won't be getting loot like you do in Mann Up and it won't increase your tour count. It will contribute to your robot kill count though if you're interested in that and it does provide for one hell of an interesting challenge.

- We also still play a lot of regular Mann Up together. So if you're also looking for a group of good players to play Mann Up with too, this is your chance. And believe me, the toughness of the some of the custom waves will increase your skills in Valve waves considerably :)

- Testing means there is a possibility things won't work from the first time. Custom waves might be way too hard which means the creator of the wave, who will be playing with us, will change it and restart the wave to try again with the changes.

It's not going to blow up your PC or anything though so don't worry.

- There are no hard rules to participate. You don't need to have X amount of tours or Y amount of robots killed and we don't follow a fixed meta. We like to experiment with different classes actually. However do keep in mind a lot of the custom missions we play are hard. Harder than anything Valve threw at us so far so we do require you to have a good working brain and that you understand the concept of teamwork.

Also, make sure you got the basics of MvM: know what stuff is still mandatory (for example: dispenser range for Engies, a money collecting class, a medic-killer, etc), know what loadouts perform poorly (for example demoknights and Natascha Heavies) and what loadouts are utter **** in MVM (looking at you Degreaser, Huntsman and Gunslinger).

- We live in Europe (Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom, etc) and we communicate in English.

- That being said, we still play this stuff for fun and don't take it all too seriously. Personally I don't care about the loot we get anyways as I enjoy blowing **** up for the lulz.

So, if you're interested, please send me a PM and I'll add you to Steam Friends.
