func_physbox issues

I created two func_physboxes for a Portal 2 map. One is a thin cylinder, the other a sphere roughly the size of the Portal sphere, but set it to explode and give damage. The first box I can pick up in the game. The second one I can't. As far as I can see, there is no settings differences between the two except for the following: Explosion Damage, Explosion Radius, Material Type, and Explode Magnitude. What do I need to do to enable me to allow this physbox to be picked up and carried by a player? Thanks.
