Steam: "Updating Steam Information" | Hanging on connect

So, when this usually comes up it takes like.. 10 seconds or less when I go to put steam back in online mode.

Now it's been 4 mins.. Any ideas what to do ? Is deleting ClientRegistry.Blob still a thing ?

edit: after about 9 mins total.. it connected..
